So I was scrolling through twitter and came across a tweet where I got to know having a custom email address like hi@yourdomain.com is cool these days 😂. I am joking 😂. But I got to know that having a personalised email address is good because it makes you look professional.
And when I look at my email address, it is faisalhusain1320@gmail.com . Very hard to remember with those numbers there.
So I started researching how to get a custom email address for free. And after researching I found out that there are several ways to get a custom email address for free.
- Zoho
- Cloudflare
- ImprovMX
But the problem for me was that i dont wanted to maintain another inbox. And already I have given my email faisalhusain1320@gmail.com to many place so I cannot abandon it.
So I started looking for other options.
I came across this blog by Anthony Fu where he explained how to use ForwardEmail .So just go to ForwardEmail and follow the steps. Add records in your domain name provider. And then follow this video below.
Refer above video to setup your custom email address for free.
But the small thing is that there will be a small tooltip kind of thing on which it will be written via google
Now I receive and send email using my new email address hi@faisalhusa.in
Everything is managed in gmail only no money and no other inbox.

I tried it but as my website is deployed on vercel and there was some proxy issue with cloudflare. So I reverted it back , but this will also work.
