About the project
TopAsk was built for a community that needed a simple way to collect and prioritize questions. Members could create discussion rooms, post questions, and upvote the topics that mattered most, giving hosts a live, community-ranked agenda. Real-time WebSocket updates kept each room in sync. The product is no longer maintained, but its case study preserves the concept and implementation of a lightweight participatory Q&A tool.
